How to submit to the ACE Awards

Things to Note

  • You will need to create an account on Iceberg
  • To checkout, change your Entry Status to “Added to Cart”, return to the homepage and click checkout. 
  • Early bird deadline: 11:59pm on January 30, 2026
  • Final submission deadline: 5:00pm on February 13, 2026
  • Physical Submissions can be delivered on Mondays and Thursdays before February 12 at 4pm MST.

Requirements

Submissions for the 47th ACE Awards are open to any Edmonton and area company or individual.

Entries must have been created and/or produced by Edmonton and area-based companies and must have been published, distributed, or broadcasted in their original form for the first time between January 1, 2025 and December 31, 2025.

ACE may request proof of initial publication, posting or airdate, as well as proof of creation or production dates.

For all entries, the following components are required:

    • A Context Description — a brief description that provides any important background on your project. Please note that this will only be read to the judges at their request.
    • A Thumbnail Image — a 270×152px image that provides a quick snapshot of your project within Iceberg (this year’s submission platform).
    • A Key Visual — a single 1320×1080px static image in a layout of your choosing, which may be used for ACE on Display as the sole work sample representing your project. You may choose to use a single key graphic or multiple visuals from your project, as long as your layout falls within the specs listed above. Please note that this will be visible to the judges.

The following categories require physical entries (along with the digital submissions):

  • Annual Report (physical submission optional) 
  • Brochure/Print Collateral 
  • Poster (physical submission optional) 
  • Direct Marketing 
  • Packaging
  • Advertising Industry Self-Promotion (physical submission optional)
  • Craft – Printing

Physical submissions can be delivered on Mondays and Thursdays before February 12 at 4pm MST.

Uploaded digital files will be used for ACE on Display and in the ACE Awards Winners book.

  • Images/Photos: All entries must be submitted as a hi-res JPG, PNG, or GIF (300 dpi), maximum dimensions 11” along any side (11” x 11” maximum square). Max 25MB. Tear sheets do not need to be uploaded. Submissions should not have crop marks or include the non-printable area.
  • Video: MPG, MPEG, MOV, AVI, MP4.  Max 1GB – Video is powered by Vimeo. Please follow their recommended settings for best results. http://vimeo.com/help/compression
  • Audio: MP3 file formats accepted.
  • Documents: PDF file format accepted.
  • Website: URL field will be available. Any Usernames and Passwords necessary should be included as a PDF.
