Property developer Qualico and ATCO (a utilities provider) teamed up with the ambition of building North America’s largest hydrogen-heated community on the outskirts of Edmonton. The basement installation was conceived and built alongside a production partner, to bring the idea of Home Hydrogen to life within the first Hydrogen-heated home (HomeOne). It serves as a fully-functioning showhome demonstration and educational display that tells the story of Hydrogen; how it’s made, where it comes from, where it’s used around the world, and what it all means for Alberta. This has become a vital tool for the clients as they bring in various members of the industry, the government, and the media.
