Canada’s oil and gas industry is a leader among oil-producing nations in environment/social/governance. Not a fact many people know or understand. This website helps visitors understand how Canada is a leader and why this matters in a world that still heavily relies on these resources.

Edmonton Global’s new mobile-responsive WordPress site was launched in September 2022, with an eye-catching front end that features dynamic animations throughout. A new information architecture and significant content strategy were needed to provide the much-improved user experience and focus on regional investment, supported by usability testing. The back end delivers complexity in an easy-to-manage format, with functionality such as: a members-only Extranet; embeds from LocalIntel, Townfolio, and Tableau to provide wide-ranging data points and demographics about the region; personalized content display via location tracking; multilingualism on key pages; integration with Salesforce Pardot; an interactive regional map; events including user submission abilities; a custom Layout Engine page builder; and much more. As a vehicle to promote the Edmonton region and drive more investment, the overarching goal for the new website is to increase visibility and engagement. To that end, since launch: content engagement has increased 40%; bounces have reduced by 93%; and users have nearly doubled.
